Getting Started

Orientation Introduction

This self-paced course will prepare you to use the most common features in Canvas. It includes six modules with short video demonstrations and links to tutorials. The modules can be viewed in any order but we recommend starting with User Settings.

After you have completed all six modules you will be able to test your Canvas 101 knowledge with a quiz in your original class. This will be in a combination of other assignments for your first grade.

In most courses, you will move through the course by Modules.  Modules are used to organize the content or to control the flow of the course and contains different types of content.
